Baawool is a Normal-type Pokémon. It can be considered to be Rikoto's Eevee.

It Evolves into one of six different Pokémon through use of various Evolutionary Stones:

Biology[]

Physiology[]

Baawool is a small Pokémon that's based on a sheep. Its skin is light pink and it has white wool covering the majority of its body, which is very soft. Its head consists of a pink face, a small black nose and two white eyes with pale green irises and black pupils, with two woolly ears facing downward on each side of its face, and has two woolly curls on the top of its head which curl backward, resembling a ram's horns.

Gender Differences[]

None.

Special Abilities[]

Baawool are famous for their soft wool, which is used for all sorts of clothing. Baawool farms still thrive today due to the lack of artificial material that can replace the wool.

Behavior[]

Baawool are famous for their soft wool, which is used for a large variety of clothing. Baawool farms still thrive today, because there aren't any artificial materials that are good enough to replace Baawool wool.

Habitat[]

Baawool mainly live on plains and grassy areas. They are often raised by farms, most notably the Haybarrel Ranch on Route 11. These farms are successful due to the lack of any artificial materials that are able to replace the wool. You obtain your own Baawool after saving Haybarrel Ranch from Team Solar, but only one per Save file.

Shiny Coloration Differences[]

For Shiny Baawool, the pink turns orange, the wool gains some light yellow saturation, and the irises turn bright blue-green.

Trivia[]

  • Prior to Version 1.0.1, Baawool uses Eevee's cry.
  • It is currently the only Pokémon in the game to evolve with a Solid Stone.
  • Baawool shares some similarities with Guppish: they both have multiple possible Evolutions, they are both first-stage Pokémon, both Pokémon are given to the player for free in the main story (albeit Guppish being given as an Egg), and both Pokémon evolve into their evolved forms with the use of Evolutionary stones.
  • Baawool can be compared to Eevee, as both are Normal-types, both have a Gender Ratio of 87.5% Male and 12.5% Female, and both can evolve into multiple Pokémon with different Types. Additionally, Baawool and Eevee can both have Evolutions that are acquired through the use of Evolutionary stones.
  • It is one of the only 3 Pokemon in the game to evolve with an Ice Stone; the other 2 are Guppish and Subearo. Out of all of these 3, Subearo is the only one that evolves with an Ice Stone that isn't a part of a branched Evolutionary line.
  • Baawool and Merkid are the only Pokémon in the game with branched evolution lines.
  • In its old design, Baawool had different shading on its head, its woolly horns were shorter, its nose was bigger and its woolly ears were pointing straight and were bigger.
