Prior to Version 1.0.1,Blitziglow uses Eelektross's cry.
Blitziglow and its Evolutionary line have a unique type combination, not counting alternate forms.
If alternate forms are counted, Heat Rotom is the only official Electric/Fire-type Pokémon.
Blitziglow was called Glofawk in the Demo, but it was changed to Blitziglow because people would inappropriately pronounce the name Glofawk as "Glow f***".
In its old design, Blitziglow was more like a larger, orange Blitzy; it was smaller, the all of the white was orange, its feet were smaller, its wings and "hair" were bigger and spikier, and its tail was pink like Shiny Blitziglow's is; and it was longer. Also, its eyes were white with pink irises and white pupils.
Origin[]
Blitziglow is based off of a firework. It also looks to be influenced by bats.
Name Origin[]
Blitziglow may be a combination of a corruption of the word Blitz, as well as the word glow. Meanwhile, its old name, Glowfawk, comes from the words Glow, probably firework, and hawk.
