Trivia[]

  • Prior to Version 1.0.1, Leonite uses Entei's cry.
  • Leonite's name was originally Daileo.
  • Leonite has the Highest Base attack of all Rock-Type Pokémon.
    • However, while Mega Leonite has the Highest Base attack of all Rock-Type Pokémon, it is tied with Mega Raizodon , Mega Bulker for the same Base Attack Stat of all of the Pokémon available in Solar Light and Lunar Dark.
  • Mega Leonite seems to quite strongly resemble Solgaleo, the Legendary Pokémon and one of the mascots from Sun and Moon.
  • In Leonite's old design, it had a diamond blue mane and tail, with body colors that seem to be a mix of the current designs of both Shiny Leonite and regular Mega Leonite.
