If the opponent has the Ability Mold Breaker, or the Pokémon is affected by Gastro Acid or has its Ability replaced, the effectiveness of Fire-type moves is 1/2×.
Gaslit is the first Ghost/Fire type since Litwick's Evolutionary Line.
Additionally, Alolan Marowak and Blacephalon are also official Fire/Ghost-type Pokémon.
Origin[]
Gaslit is based on a Will-o-the-Wisp, a phenomenon often tied to ghost stories and folklore. Its Flame Eater ability could be a reference to the Abura Akago, a Yokai that takes the form of a baby and drinks lamp oil. Its Shiny Coloration may be a reference to ectoplasm, which is often depicted having a green color.
Name Origin[]
Gaslit comes from the words Gas, gasoline, and lit. It could also come from the term gaslighting.
