Gatorock is a dual-type Rock/Water Pokémon.

It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon.

Note: As of the final demo of Pokémon Solar Light and Lunar Dark, this Pokémon is unobtainable.

Biology[]

Physiology[]

Gatorock is a stone alligator Pokémon. Its body is mainly gray, with four gray legs with three toes on each foot, a large blue tail, blue along its back and the top of its head with gray stones along the top of its body, green in between the blue and the gray, and its head has two pinprick black nostrils, a jagged mouth, and two white eyes with blue irises and pinprick black pupils.

Gender Differences[]

None.

Special Abilities[]

The rocks on Gatorock's back help disguise it in the water; prey think they are just rocks in the water; when they get close enough, Gatorock snaps with its powerful jaws.

Behavior[]

The rocks on Gatorock's back helps disguise them in the water; prey will think there are just rocks in the water, and when they approach closely enough, Gatorock will snap at them with their powerful jaws.

Habitat[]

Wild Gatorock were found in Goopool Swamp before Swampheap took its place, which means it was likely that Surfing was required to encounter them. However, as stated in the Overview, Gatorock are currently unobtainable, so this can't be confirmed.

Shiny Coloration Differences[]

Because Gatorock is currently unavailable, as already mentioned twice before, it doesn't have a Shiny Coloration. However, with a stroke of pure luck, perhaps it will be available again, so it might have a Shiny coloration if does get added back in.
