Pokédex entries[]
Pokédex entry
Gemmany collects any gems it sees. However, tales have it that it would still generously give out jewels to those who asked.
Gemmany, at one point, was a Psychic/Rock Type, and it also had a similar Body structure to Plusle or Minun.
Gemmany's Type combination is very rare among official Pokémon. As of the Crown Tundra Expansion Pass of Pokémon Sword and Shield, the only official Pokémon that are also Rock/Fairy-types are Carbink and (Mega) Diancie.
Much like other mythical pokemon, specifically the ones known in the community as the "Mew clones," Gemmany has base 100 in every stat.
Origin[]
Gemmany is based on a mouse and jewelry.
Name Origin[]
Gemmany's name comes from the words Gem and many referring to its Pokédex entry stating it collects any gems it finds.
Its name also could possibly be a play on the Zodiac Sign, "Gemini" due to how its name sounds and it sports twin tails, in which Gemini is also Latin for "Twins".
