Peafan is the only Pokémon in the game that is based on a peafowl, but there are currently no official Pokémon that are based on one.
Strangely, Peafan doesn't have Gender Differences, while actual peafowl do; the males (peacocks) are colorful and have big colorful tails, while the females (peahens) are brown.
Prior to 1.0.1, Peafan uses Swellow's cry.
In Peafan's old design, its wings and tail feathers were round, their tufts of feathers were smaller, and the curl on its head made it look like a baby's first hair.
Origin[]
Peafan is based on a peacock.
Name origin[]
Peafan's name is a combination of the words Peacock and fan.
